Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. She is currently the president as the president of Los Angeles Lakers, the NBA's majority owners. Buss, who is born in California was born into an extremely wealthy family. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who was later a part owner of the Lakers and various other sports organizations. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened after her parents split in the year 1972. When she was 19, she began working in the family business. Later she founded the Los Angeles Blades pro roller hockey team. She first served as vice-president for the Lakers prior to taking over the presidency of the Great Western Forum. Buss her father passed away in 2013, and the Lakers were inherited from him by her and five of her siblings through a trust. Each of the siblings had equally many votes. She assumed her duties as president of Los Angeles Lakers. Buss co-owns Women of Wrestling an pro-wrestling promotional company based in Los Angeles.
