Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes Soul gospel Jazz and R&B in a signature mix. Sunshine has performed everywhere from Broadway up to The Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine Her real name was Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta however, her roots lie situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop an interest in music, as a singer and pianist at the church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B musical scene. In 2005, she was the pianist in Tyler Perry's stage production Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy and Tony Award winning vocalist who has worked on stage production Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, contacted her about being the choir leader of the production. Sunshine was the subject of national media attention due to her 4 performances a day during the Democratic National Convention in 2008. She was invited to perform at President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in 2009.
